I'm a little concerned about how the group might turn out if this Ger-Cro result holds up but we'll just have to beat Austria first.

Yeh, 'zactly, but Austria sure kept up with Croatia... and which team would show up to play the Poles? But first Austria and this gives them incentive.

Still, it's always good to see one team eating some crow!

2-1 to Croatia

this just got a little more complicated

We have to beat Austria and hope Germany chokes against them next game. Unlikely.

Bak plays in Austria, that's one reason Beenhaaker picked him as Captain.

Austria has been a noble host: this will be a good game....they played Croatia real good.

So, in full respect to Austria, it seems in fact, Poland needs to have a win with a good margin to hold out hope of advancing or something...

I think this will be a good game too. If Austria wins, it will set up one hell of a showdown against Germany in the final game.

Not true. Poland have to beat Croatia by 2 or more goals and beat Austria. Although a difficult task, it's still in Poland's hands.

Howard Webb just has a presence about him that he is the man in control.

Not an ex. He is an active Sergeant with the South Yorkshire PD.

Austria just sucks so much at finishing. If the coach was smart, he would have addressed that situation after the match against Croatia.

WHat the world about Poland giving these breakaways away! Man...

Poland better start playing some defence, one reason Germany got those two.

They need to attach a bunch of Christmas lights to the Polish goal so the Austrian players can see it.

Austria should be up 2 or 3-0. Reminds me of Argentina/USA last week.

I can't believe Austria haven't scored. This is incredibly lopsided sofar...

Boruc saved it with his junk. Cobi Jones would have allowed that goal.
