I expect Poland to start in 4-2-3-1 formation: Boruc - Wasilewski, Bak, Jop, Zewlakow - Dudka, Lewandowski - Smolarek, Guerreiro, Krzynowek - Saganowski. I hope Lewandowski will be fit.
i like this line up
and i don't think we have anybody else other then Saganowski to play in the front against the very strong Austrian defenders

Where is Lobo? He deserves to play after the last performance, IMO.

this is going to be the formation guaranteed
------------------------Boruc------------------------
--Wasilewski------Bak----------Zewlakow---Golanski--
-----------------Dudka----Lewandowski--------------
--Łobodziński------Roger----------------Krzynowek---
---------------------------Smolarek-----------------
the question isn't what we do up top... because for some reason some of you guys still don't understand that Leo loves Lobo, and Lobo had a decent match against the Germans. So i expect him to start, it should be a straight switch Roger for Zurawski in the hole behind Smolarek. the only question is what do we do for Left-back since Golanski didn't look good at times. Do we keep him, or do we toss Jop in there, or do we try the younger Wawrzyniak?

i think Leo put Saganowski on the squad with the Austrians in mind and i think he'll start
Golanski had a poor game and is not strong enough and will be replaced by Wasilewski with Zewlakow going out wide with Jop in the middle with Bak
Dudka and Lewandowski seem untouchable
so we have 3 spots left for 4 players: Roger, Smolarek, Krzynowek and Lobodzinski
i think Lobo will be first off the bench if either Smolarek of Krzynowek show signs of not being able to 'carry' the team

i just can't see Saganowski happening... if we really truly want to win Lobo will start off on the right and Roger behind Smolarek... i know Lobo has disappointed the last few months but he is much better than Saganowski.

Did Hickersberger hint at changing the keeper? During the tournament?
No, but I won't breathe easy until I see Macho in goal, with Manninger no less than 50 metres away in his back-up keeper kit. =D

This will be a tough match for Poland if it does not equal Austria's energy, which should have won the first match. Austria has the same chance of beating Poland that Poland had of beating Germany, possible, but unlikely.

Bak as Captain.
First things first, perhaps if Poland wins: Croatia wins, it'll be discussed what might happen if three teams finished with 6 points.

Roger is replacing Zurawski not Saganowski

Let's win first today, and see what happens in the other match, and discuss the various permutations later.
Piszczek injured, will not play today. We are officially a walking hospital.

there's almost no way Saganowski starts over Lobo... AND IF for whatever reason I am wrong and Saganowski DOES indeed start over Lobo then i will eat my words, apologize, and admit i was wrong... but Leo loves Lobo... i can't say that enough

If Switzerland-Turkey last night is anything to go by, this should be quite an entertaining game.
Hopefully we see another end-to-end affair with both sides going for till the death.

If the game finish Croatia 2-0, It would be very difficult to Poland to pass the other phase.
