They moved Fritz to right back, Lahm to left back and Odonkor will take Fritz' spot in midfield.
Germany wants to turn the tables and put some pressure on Croatia. They needed more speed for that.

Croatia do lack pace, especially the Kovac brothers, so Odonkor may be able to create some more space.
I feel sorry for Jansen, he was given no support from Podolski.
