And even if my calculations were exact ( about 36 million on ATV and 16 million on Ligtv ), I don't understand what mean that the ratings are 19.90 on ATV ? If the ratings are 20%, 36 million is 20% of 180 and the Turkey hasn't 180 million of inhabitants...........

OK Siyam, if the share on ATV of Turkey-Portugal is 55% and 15-20% on Ligtv, this mean that the market share total of the game has been about 70-75% ( it is the same or inferior of the most share of the other nations of the Euro 2008 )
Now you say that in Turkey almost all to watch the TV in that hour ( if the population has 78 million of inhabitants and 70 million to watch the TV in the time of the game, this mean that the 75% of 70 million is 52 million).
Are they rights my calculations ?

mate, i didn't say anything...if u read my first post, i said only 52million viewers...not 'net' or rating or share...and i don't know how the viewers r counting and don't know the meaning of share or a-b or c or etc...i just post the viewers that they declared it...and i don't belive it 52 million too..it has to be 65 million...it's hard to understand for you i think...70 *75 ..loll..isn't that so easy to calculate for the viewers??for example last match rating for atv is%52, but they r sayin' 'gunlukreytingler.net' almost 70million watched it..i told u can't compare to the turkey with industrilized world....
anyway.

I guess those are decent numbers. Nothing too exciting.

I suspect the ratings for ESPN/ESPN2/ABC will improve through the knockout games, though.

Imagine how much higher the ratings in America would be if England were in. I just know that ratings would've been higher if England were in although I can't say exactly how much higher.

No surprise in Italy yesterday. More interests for the match between Turkey and Czech Republic (5,158 million viewers for 23,7% on Rai Uno) than Switzerland vs Portugal, without challenge (only 1,895 million viewers for 8,7% on Rai Due).

What a clown. This guy is supposed to be the senior advisor to Platini? 7 million is in no way an all-time high for Dutch television. The current top 5 football games is:

Netherlands - Brazil (WC 98) 11,7m
Netherlands - Italy (EURO 00) 11,5m
Netherlands - Yugoslavia (EURO 00) 10,7m
Netherlands - Argentina (WC 98) 10,5m
Netherlands - Denmark (EURO 92) 10,2m
Netherlands - Yugoslavia (WC 98) 10,1m

Actually he may be right, as Dutch numbers take in account the number of viewers, which is everybody that has watched the game on their tv for at least 1 minute and the people who watch it in public places like pubs. I think the UEFA only looks at the people who watched it at home. More than 10 million people in Holland have watched the Netherlands - Italy game and over 11 million have watched the game against France, that is the ones in pubs etc taken into account.
