i would not worry about mcclaren as i dont think he is going to get it. i think its going to be a close call between shearer and ten cate who has applied for the job. by the way have you been reading nickos thread on brfcs. he says the managers that have applied are quality and will know more by wednesday with an appointment in the next 10 days.

I'm very surprised that McLaren would want to come back to England so soon as he's obviously going to get a lot of stick from the fans regarding the Euro 2008 debacle. I thought the FC Twente post would have been more appropriate for him.

He's the worst England manager of my lifetime thus far. Should Phil Neville one day take charge, Macca might be beaten to that title.
