While everyone else will be giddy over the European Cup, I'm going to continue my Americentrism:)
I'm planning on being at Mother Egan's to watch this one, 6:30 Sunday evening. I did check with Sherlock's and they don't have digital, so if I successfully researched this (I called and the guy I talked to wasn't sure, but said probably not), they don't have it. Too bad. I thought this would be a good chance to give them a little love for their Aztex sponsorship.
It should be nice and humid and warm at that point, so all the more reason to be in someone else's air conditioning having a pint (or, in my case, a half-pint).
Sure, the US has looked questionable against England and Spain, and Argentina thrashed Mexico, but I'm expecting that Dallas boy FrankenCooper will get a chance to show his stuff. And Freddy showed well against Spain.
And we won't have seen each other since tonight (don't forget tonight, guys!). One more opportunity to wax footophilic! Hope to see y'all there!
