I love watching him play and was just curious for those of you who know better than i do, if Benzema will be a starter for France? I enjoyed watching him in the Champions League and Ligue 1 highlights.

It is very likely that he will start against Romania, much to everybody's delight. :)

Give the kid a break he's just now starting for les bleus, and he's almost scored 5 goals in the last two friendlies. Just bad luck really, the goals will come.

Benzema didn't play against the Dutch and may not start against Italy.
Underused or under-experienced?

I think we'll see him vs Italy as a sub at the very least. Also remember vs Romania he wasnt being used properly playing out of his normal position.

I'm hearing that Benzema stole the number 10 France jersey from Sidney Govou somehow. Anybody else read something like that?

It actually bothers me seeing Govou in a blue numéro dix jersey .

Heh, if there's anyone more deserving of the 10, although he strikes me as a number nine.
