This whole cup has devoid of anything magical so far...
yep sofar it sucks cok:mad:
You didnt score more than 3 goals in any of your qualifiers despite the group containing georgia and faroe islands. You scored one goal more than shot shy Scotland , hardly the entertainers are you.
How's England doing in the EURO?

Awful game, worst of the tournament so far.
Italy vs Netherlands can't fail to be better.

Great result for Romania. I knew the French would be mediocre first game in. Too bad Henry doesnt play.

Well, it's expected. As entertainment, the Copa America is ten times more fun because attacking football is still the norm in the Conmebol. UEFA is a battle of midfields with solid defences.
Dont let your cliche blind you there mate. All Euros until 2000 were exciting then they just turned dull much like the World Cups as teams are scared of losing. In Copa America you have two big guns in Argentina and Brazil but in the Euros there is Germany, Holland, Portuglal, France, Spain and Italy a much more difficult competiton to win so "spoiler" tatics are often implemented.

An Earthquake to sink the Island? Then you won't have a NT to cry about anymore! Good thinking. :D

What fact? If you're going to criticize, you shouldn't look like such a hypocrite. Answer my question, how's England doing in the EURO?

Don't even know about that...the 2004 Euro was pretty attacking minded as well. But I guess people don't have that impression, because ultimately, the most destructive team prevailed. But that Holland vs. Czech game was one of the best I've ever seen.

Romania - France nothing:nothing. this has been one of the most boring games i've seen. i could say i'm happy with this result but...c'mon not one shot on gol for neither teams.
the defense was wonderful for both teams but with this attack neither teams seem capable of qualifing. i'm curios of what the italians and dutch have to offer. Hai Romania, with one more victory we may qualify! :)

What happened to the arrogant guy that used to commentate for ESPN? Eric Wynalda I think his name was. Sure to tick someone off and generate some action. Would be good to have him there after this snoozefest.

I'm not overly familiar with the Romanian squad, but I must say defender Rat impressed me today. Very poised in the back.

I'm by nature quite fond of the Brits, but yeah, there was a lot of bitterness from them in the Portugal-Turkey thread too. True. :D
