most boring 45 so far?

Probably.

That shot of Anelka is better than we got from the tube, now I see why it went off into space..maybe they'll put that in their computer and that slow up on the axis and see what happened, because it was way to high, fair chance.

Draws are generally not good for either, but truly is a worthy result against such opponents.

there's yet to be a match where both teams score;
i'm thinking ITA/NED will change that.

France must lead the world in level of talent-not playing up to that talent ratio. It's like watching paint dry.

They were just mentioning the talent level on German TV. Was funny to hear Mehmet Scholl quoting Otto Rehhagel. :D

It's 2008, welcome to the world of football where the Azzurri have one of the best strikers in Europe and play a 4-3-3.

Right now we are at 1.33 goals per game (6 goals in 4.5 games).

Must say the USA-Argentina game yesterday was a lot more fun than any Euro game so far. And likely to stay that way until the semis.

Regardless, this is typical Domenech. Henry's injury is not helping, either: Anelka has done almost nothing. Sagnol is just coming back from a long time injured and it shows, and Malouda is keeping his underwhelming form.

If something is going to happen for France, it has to come from the Ribéry-Benzema pair.

You didnt score more than 3 goals in any of your qualifiers despite the group containing georgia and faroe islands. You scored one goal more than shot shy Scotland , hardly the entertainers are you.

France just doesn't seem to work as a team. Great individual players who try to look good.

The french system is quite inflexible and that is hurting them. The portuguese midfielder switched fluently their positions and the french (except Ribery) are totally incapable to do that

But as Mehmet Scholl just pointed out on German TV, even if Ribery switches flanks, Malouda just stays put, being useless on the left and exposing the right flank.

Why Anelka was picked over Trezegol will never make sense to me.. Domenech needs to go

Look at that, France doesnt even come out of the dressing room as a team

Two dms cant work in a 4-4-2 without a forward. Playing two strikers means no one is coming short for the ball.

Yes indeed. Quite boring 1st half, that's for sure.
