Which do you think is harder?
Which do you enjoy the most?
Do you think one helps you develope better for the other one?
I see more fights break out in the indoor game than the outdoor, what about you?

I always thought of them as two totally different games that provide benefits to eachother. The quick movement in indoor and close quarters helps perfect passing, trapping and shooting in tight spaces. Outdoor has long passes, field switching, more of an aerial game. But, what you use in each one helps your other game. I've always preferred outdoor because of the aerial game and the longer off-the-ball runs.

I find outdoor harder then indoor, but in terms of enjoyment I find indoor a bit more enjoyable, as you tend to showboat more and have more fun as it isn't a as serious nature compared to the outdoor game IMO.
Outdoor I find is more serious, as it's like the real deal as such, but I enjoy outdoor A LOT as well, just indoor a bit more due to it's relaxed nature as such.

In indoor it´s easier to control the ball(because of the turf) but requires much more ball handling skills and shooting accuracy. Outdoor requires mre fitness, speed, aerial skills, and tactical awareness. Indoor is probably more fun and less serious/stressfull, and both compliment each other(as far has helping you improve.) And I´m 99% percent sure outdoor has more fights:cool:

i think indoor is harder because it requires more sprinting and is a much quicker game. It does develop more ball skills. where as in outdoor you need more field awarness and better vision to see the whole field.

I play and enjoy both. But, while the tight spaces indoors can help with ball control a bit, I consider outdoor much more of a skill game. With walls, indoor can be played pretty effectively with a lot of dump and chase and banging things off the walls and overly physical play.

Indoor just isn't soccer to me. It doesn't feel right. I only play indoors if I have to. I hate the winters. lol

i play both while i'm at school because it has an indoor court. when spring came though, i went outside and about died after the first 10 minutes because of the longer runs and more jogging which is sad because i always played the entire game in high school. indoor is similar to basketball in that regard of shorter, quick runs.
when i did go back to outdoor after the winter though, i noticed how much more comfortable on the ball i was. my passing, dribbling, and even creativity really improved from indoor.
i like them both about equally to play. it just depends on what mood i'm in at the time.

I enjoy both. I find indoor is good for developing quick thinking and improving ball skills that you can put in to place when playing outdoor.

Also(considering most indoor gyms have air conditioning) indoor requires less fitness than outdoor, where the air is thinner. Similar to playing at a higher altitude.

Yea i play both i like both. But nothing can beat the real game played outdoors. Indoors helps me. It taught me how to handle the ball better and react better for outdoor. But when i play indoor season i make sure i run alot because outdoor requires way more running.

I've played both and indoor is just a totally different animal; very, very quick because of the turf and crazy ways to get your teammates the ball, with passes off of high netting, hockey-like boards and plexi-glass on the sides, it can get pretty crazy. Quick thinking is paramount and you learn very quickly from awful turf burns to stay the hell off the ground, unless you really enjoy puss oozing from your legs and ass. So, forget about your reliance on slide-tackling.
Playing indoor can really improve your outdoor game though, for all of the above mentioned reasons, so if you're looking to improve your game or just have fun then I highly recommend indoor.
My preference? There's just no substitute for the open spaces on the big field (outdoor).

another thing i like about outdoor more is that you have to adjust to the elements. wind, rain, snow, cold, heat, etc. Indoor, well basically the worst thing that can happen is that it gets hot or cold because the place you play isn't air conditioned or heated. Nothing like playing in the snow or rain.

I play outdoor 11-a-side on grass, Outdoor 7-a-side on astroturf, Indoor 5-a-side and Indoor futsol. My favourite is obviously the real game nothing beats it at all but i play the others at less competive levels in my spare time enjoying the futsol more than any as its a very hard ball thats hard to lift that you play with and is full on who gots more tricky footwork and quick, short 1 2 passing wins. The 7-aside however has improved my game more than any of the others as its a smooth surface unlike 11-a-side and you have more space than in futsol meaning you can build up the confidence on a 7-a-side game on doing tricks shooting from distance ect. to do it in the real thing...
11-a-side is more enjoyable by a long shot for me though, Love enything about the game!
