So, anyways I stumbled onto my old 606 account and was going through my posts in the tumultuous 05-06 season.

As it turns out I made some predictions which inadvertently turned out right:D and some which were well....:o

The ones which went horribly wrong:

A. Steven Davis rather than Carrick
B. A new GK to replace VDS
C. KJH as a replacement for Ruud

Inadvertently got 'em right

A. We only need one CM to get back to winning titles.(I was counting on Mikel)
B. We don't need a striker since one of Rossi or Rooney will step up.

Spot on

A. Messi and Ronaldo to prove themselves to be the best 2 attacking players of their generation in the next couple of years:cool:
B. Rossi to prove to be a much better player than Lupoli
C. Vidic to prove to be a rock for us once he settles in.

So, what predictions did you make at the height of the Roman empire and how did they fare?

I correctly predicted that Teso would be proven an idiot due to his 'Sack the Management' thread.

I predicted that Rossi would become a regular and clearly got that wrong. Talented lad but we let him go.

After reading an article about 4 years ago, I started to believe that Ronaldo would become the most sought after player on the planet. "In 4 years" it said "the boy will be hailed as a genius".

I agreed and look what happened. £80m was the last fee I heard......

That's me 99% the time sitting on the fence and all that although naturally I'm much more handsome.

The other 1% of the time I'm wrong.

Nearest I've come to being right was when one of my first posts on here was to say we should sign Tevez. Does that count even though I didn't give a reason or speculate about his ability?

Heh heh. Certainly not if you're Manc . Its us women that are the pride of Manchester, you know ?:D

The rest of your post I agree with. I always get it wrong when I predict something.

Only thing I got right was that I was sure Chelsea wouldnt win three in a row. :D

Just like United I'm from Trafford and whilst I normally wouldn't make the distinction it seems appropriate here as I'm that gorgeous.

Nah, I lied. :p Did a computer face recognition thing once that pegged me as looking a bit like Bruce Willis or Kiefer Sutherland which in itself wasn't too bad. Problem was that it didn't include the rest which would be on the Johnny Vegas/Martin Samuel scale.
