What are the banners with orange/yellow bars plus the UK Union Jack that one sees in the stands on telecasts from Lens stadium?
Lens fans have always fancied themselves a little different in terms of the support of their team, especially in earlier years. Traditionally they have identified themselves with the way English supporters back their team in terms of passion, songs, chants, etc. That is not to say that other clubs are not supported by those things, the Lens' supporters just feel a kinship with fans of English clubs.

I've always had a soft spot for Lens because of the team's cool colours. Quite why the fans adopt that rag of a flag baffles me. Oh well. :D
