The plastic wishlist:
1. Quaresma
2. Who cares - we need that no 1.
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Until we get a gaffer I declare that there will be no useful discussion on this thread. I know how much Eddie loves this topic though so expect to see some useful contributions from his portly self.

Well, according to our German counterparts, we need to sell Joe Cole. Because of his supposed lack of vision and technique.

Seriously, the Ribery versus Cole debate is odd.
The can mutually exist in the same starting 11 correct?
Ribery
Young
who ever just get one and promote Sinclair, and get us some decent strike help and a manager.
Same wish list I have always had, moving on.

Sell Cole, get Odonkor. We'll win the quadruple for sure then. Also, let Carvalho go to Inter with Mourinho and replace him with Meira who is wayyyyyy better. Terry also sux for costing us the CL let's get Huth back because Germans always make penalties.
I still say Sinclair is exactly the player we're looking for in the transfer market. Left-sided, young, fast as hell, dribbling ability, eye for goal. I see no point in signing Bentley or Young for 15-20mio when we've got a player that will be better very soon.

What formation would we run if we got another midfielder/striker? It would put Essien completely out of the mix, no? Because say we were to start running a 4-4-2 with a new striker, and as most of us want/suggest, a new winger/creative mid. We'd probably keep Ballack and Lamps in the middle. Boz would occupy right back (rightfully so). Joe Cole would play on either wing, and whatever new player would play on the left or right. So what happens to Essien?

Depending on the coach, I would have to think Essien plays. Perhaps behind the midfield three or is given a different role. Too talented not to find room for this lad.

Per Rizs skinny instructions
although Dos Santos has been linked with Spudz, he is claiming his agent has talked with us and that he wants to come here.
btw- Allez is correct on the Zidane thing. They really asked him if he was going to Tottenham, his reaction was classic. Remember, before we came along Spurs were the rich London club who were linked to everyone.

Something tells me that this is a good thing. Because by the summer's end, we should have the depth to actually be able to argue about which good player should be in the starting XI.

we are pretty close now mate. The obvious exception being on the wings and up front.
Still having to choose from Anelka and Drobga up front and SWP, Malouda, J. Cole, Kalou and Sinclair on the wings is a problem most teams wouldnt really complain about either.
Didnt bother with Sheva and Pizza as I believe they will both be gone.

I feel for Scott Sinclair - I think if Jose had been around this season the kid would now be a regular in the first team.

I really dont think we'd run a 4-4-2 with Ballack and Lampard in the middle.
It would be Essien/Lampard, or in the event of wanting to play 2 strikers, a 4-3-1-2 is viable
Assuming Drogba is off Id love this:
Gomez
Young
The Amazing Joey Cole
Super Frank
Zee German
The Bison
Bridge
Captain
Ricky
The Boz
Cech
Huntelaar
Sinclair
Kalou
Mikel
SWP
Maka
Cole
Drago
Alex
Paulo
Carlo
Getting that younger Gomis might be a good idea, Benzema either. Ribery, Young, or Rbinho I wont cry over either. Small changes though

Well, Joe Cole has always been a given. SWP can't cross, Malouda is Malouda, Kalou isn't bad, and Sinclair could potentially be the answer to our prayers.
