The all new Fantasy Footie League Online is now in its final stages of testing. Anyone interested in taking part in testing it, will have a league set up for free.
It's ideal for small groups of people, offices, co-workers, drinking buddies. A great way to pass the time at work.
We are looking for people who will help in the testing. The testing will be nothing more than taking part in a league, and keeping the admins aware of any bugs.
It is not your normal fantasy football site. Players do not have preset values. You do not build your squad by simply picking the players you want, you are not competing against hundreds of others in one big league, and you are not accumlating points each week till the end of the season.
It is more fun you can shake a stick at. Much more involving and rewarding than the newspaper games. You can beat your best friend 4-1 at the weekend and then go into work on monday and crow about it all day. or you can get stuffed in your first 4 games, sit on the bottom of the league with no points and try to rebuild your squad before its too late.
At this site, you create your own league. Leagues can have from 6 to 14 teams in them.
Each team in your league builds their squad by taking part in an online auction, where all the EPL players are up for sale.
And then each week, each team plays against another team, in a head to head match. Each manager picks a starting 11, using one of 5 possible formations. The team scores points depending on how the players do in the EPL. Which ever team scores highest that week, wins the game. 3 points for the win. And so it goes, all season long.
If you are a sad internet loner geek with no friends, no problem, you can test in a league with all the other loners. If you have between 5 and 13 friends, maybe people in your office, or your sunday league footie side, then you can all go in the same league and play against each other for the entire season.
Time wise, the initial auction runs for up to 2 weeks, and will need you to have internet access on a daily basis, Once the league starts, you only have to pick your team once a week for the weekend's matches. Thats it.
So, anyone interested in taking part, testing and being part of free league, let me know at

Be sure to tell me if you are a loner or want to start a league made up of just people you know (and if so, tell me how many will be in your league).
