Center Back Chris Perry is coming to the Valley on a one month loan from Tottenham. He will help to fill the void in the next few weeks with Fish out for the Man U game, and Gary Rowett and Richard Rufus out with injury.

This would have been a very difficult stretch without the injuries, but a throw together back line does not instill lots of confidence.

I'm scratching my head on this one. Why can't Herman Hreidarsson play center back? They could have kept Konchesky on to play left back and they also have Chris Powell to play on left, too. This loan move is not a good thing.

Perry hasn't been playing and knows nothing of Charlton's playing system. They could have made do with what they got. Instead they send Konchesky off to Spurs where he'll surely come back hurt.

If he comes back at all.

This loan does sort of confuse me. I think that Curbs was looking for any deal that got Konchesky out. This one came up, and he jumped on it.

According to:

Perry thinks that his career at the Spurs is over.
" I want the move to become a perminant one..."
