0T-MLS Video Game

I'm sure a lot of us here play FIFA or PES but what about a game just for MLS? FIFA is a great game, but it always comes out in the fall. This means that it isn't able to include the next expansion team for MLS. For example this year's version excludes San Jose, and last year's excluded Toronto. They could have JP Dellacamera and John Harkes doing the broadcast as a Primetime Thurday night game on ESPN, just like EA does with some of its other sports games. One last thing would be for it to include all of the team's real stadiums. I'm happy FIFA '08 had the HDC, but what about all the other teams. I;m sick of having all the games in either "Olympic Style" or "Generic Modern Style" stadiums in FIFA. What do you guys think? I would def. buy it for sure.

I just don't think that would sell well.
Firstly, you have to compete against Fifa.
That alone is nearly impossible.
Secondly, limiting yourself to 1 league narrows down
who would be willing to buy the game.
Why by just an MLS game, when you can have MLS plus 20 other leagues?
Plus...i'm not that impressed with have an actual replication of
Gillette stadium to play in....maybe add some gridlines.

i have to wonder, now that xbox/microsoft are official sponsors of a team and the league, respectively, if they may urge developers to focus more attention on MLS, whether it's in the FIFA series, or its own league-specific game.

Worst case scenario couldnt they sell an expansion pack or something to add to the current fifa/pes version. This then give us all the MLS things we want and still not be a completely new release. Thoughts?

all they have to do is beef us the MLS part of the game.
I just wouldn't make a MLS game by itself.

totally agree... they did add the home depot center. And as a quakes fan (untill nyc gets a team) the fact that they aren't in the game doesn't bother me as much as the fact that there is no international tournaments for the MLS during manager mode... whether I create a team or just pick one i never play in the mls cause i hate playing the same teams over and over again year after year. give me superliga or the champions cup or something.
