Well, couldnt see a thread about this anywhere but United unveiled a statue of the Holy Trinity - Denis Law, George Best and Bobby Charlton today.

Took time off work to head across , Sir Bobby and Denis's statues look great, Bestie's doesnt look quite right though.

I also got to meet Nobby Stiles, Denis Law was a great experience.

Will put my pictures up in a bit.

Here's a pic of the statue from elsewhere:

i'm going to be in europe at least twice, maybe three times in the coming months for work. i'm going to have to re-route one of those flights to stop in Manchester. it really is something i *need* to do.

Went in 2000. Only the birth of my child was a greater experience. Staying in London, took a 3 hour train ride to Manchester just to get a few pictures of the stadium and buy a shirt. When I got out of the cab , a guy asked me if I had tickets and wanted to attend the match. I paid him twice the value of the ticket , saw Beckham score and Keano lift the 2000 Premiership trophy. I was tearing up on the train ride back when it hit me what I had experienced.I'm getting chills now thinking about it and that was 8 years ago. I need to go back and see that beautiful statue
