I'm here. What did you think about that penalty call? The announcers thought it was horrendous, but I have seen less called for penalties.

Unfortunately for a team that is ranked 92nd and has never played in a Euro before, this is a nightmare start for them. Hopefully for their sake they get one back, but I just don't see it happening.

Anywhere else on the pitch it certainly would have been a foul... he clearly took the guys legs out and got no where near the ball.

Croatia, always one of my favourite teams in any tournament. Match is starting off with drama...

ETA: I've seen much worse fouls not called for penalty. *shrug* But maybe we have an attentive referee here. Hope no problems. Want to enjoy this match. On the other hand, problems add to the drama, so yeah, whatever. :)

The penalty call was correct although Olic made it look worse than it was. Typical clumsy foul from a big clumsy defender..

Penalty was definitely obvious and with all the grabbing Pogatetz is doing on Olic, I will not be surprised to see him sent off during this match.

A yellow for a tactical foul or a yellow for "mugging" the guy from behind. Refs choice. He should be gone.
