Update: Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva has recently been quoted saying, "I think Arsene Wenger needs to bring in some players." Wenger has been getting some pressure to start making some of his options public, but he has been careful not to release information too quickly.
Analysis: The criticism from Gilberto is a bit strange because he spent most of the season as a substitute or as a starter during lesser cup matches. Recent transfer Mathieu Flamini occupied Gilberto's midfield spot so one would think that he would be excited for the opportunity to regain his playing time rather than cause a rift with Wenger.
