I don't mean necesarily win, but who will be the cinderella team that surprises everybody and makes it further than anybody expects?

I picked Romania. Nobody gives them a chance because they are in a tough group, and it's true that it will be tough for them to get out of it.
But, they played good football in the qualifiers, they proved they can beat Holland, and I can see them surprising France. If they make it past their group, they could grow in confidence.
Plus, they have two genuine stars in Mutu and Chivu, and they are sort of the anti-Greece. Better attacking than defending. So, I hope they do well.

I think Poland with Ebi Smolarek goals.

I think Poland too, simply because they can go far if they manage to play as good as they did in qualifiers.

I'm the biggest pessimist this side of the Oder river when it comes to our NT but I think Leo is just the man we needed, and he has done wonders. We have arguably the best keepers in the world, Guerreiro could be quite a discovery in the tournament, and as the qualifiers proved we can put away goals as well. If we can shake off the rather inevitable, opening loss to Germany, and not allow it to demoralize, then yeah, I think we can show something.

Not gonna vote though, because that would jinx any possibility of a chance. :)

Poland lost to the US which, along with Switzerland automatically counts them out in my book. And they were poor in a weak group in Germany 2006 (Germany, Ecuador, Poland, Costa Rica) only managing to beat CR 2-1
Poland<US<England= Poland<a team that didn't qualify for Euros

Sorry yeah I saw that going differently in my head. I meant that they were worse than England who didn't qualify

I think Romania have the best chance out of anyone, my next 2 picks would be either Croatia or Turkey.

 Yeah okay I'm sorry, I was wrong next time I should judge Poland based on one friendly just one, and results two years ago, because we all know that judging Poland based on their Euro Qualifiers, and all their friendlies would be complete nonsense and totally unreasonable.

I see Poland as well.
Greece might surprise a few people again. They did cruise through the EQers.

My vote Croatia because they have Bilic as a coach and a great midfield with Modric, Kovac, Srna and Kranjcar who are all stars in their clubs and if they play like they can no one can stop Croatia. Some of the players and former players believe in a really great result this time...we'll see
My second pick would be Romania which has few great players and a team that is capable of winning against the big ones.

I think at this stage all of the teams are capable of surprises. I am a big fan of Turkey although I wasn't very impressed with their performance in the friendlies. I also think Poland and Romania are very dangerous as well as Portugal. It would be very difficult to guess who will come out of the group stages which is what makes this tournament so frickin exciting. I can't wait till next week..

Oh I totally forgot the team who eliminated England: Croatia. They are back and extremely dangerous. I was totally rooting for them during the 1998 World Cup when they got the third place. I think they deserved to be the champs that year. Davor Suker was great. I am totally rooting for all of the underdogs that most give no chance of getting out of the group stages. I am hoping Turkey and Portugal out of Group A, Croatia and Poland out of Group B, Netherlands and Romania out of Group C, and Greece and Spain out of Group D will all make it out. Perhaps wishful thinking but oh well..

I voted in Croatia, I think they have great players with lots of talent and they have nothing to loose so... I also think, and because I saw what Poland is capable of against Portugal in the qualifiers, that the polish team can do great in this Euro. They are not the same team that did a poor World Cup in Gemany, that's for sure!
