Have a convention there in June and will likely have some European customers to entertain. Restaurant and live music suggestions would be very welcome.

Nashville is a really fun place.
There's a district near the river/downtown that has plenty of themed restaurants and there are also several pubs in the area. Plenty of people walking around, etc.
Live music is EVERYWHERE in Nashville. They even had people playing live music at the bar in the airport! If you're looking for live music, just show up at one of the bars near the river/downtown.
I just didn't dig the fact that they sold the Confederate flag in the gift shops.

You will find plenty of food and entertainment choices along Broadway between 1st Ave and 5th Ave. You'll also find stuff along 2nd Ave north of Broadway. If you're looking for something more classy, try the Stock-Yard Restaurant (http://stock-yardrestaurant.com/) at 901 2nd Ave N. Reservations are recommended. If you just want your typical bar, just follow the smoke and music along Broadway.

I was amused at the fact that some places were selling guitar shaped fly swatters.

My wife and I were there for the Olympic finals and we really enjoyed it. For breakfast, check out the Pancake Pantry. Great breakfast that was worth the wait.
