I blame peter kenyon (no capitalisation of his name.) He purposely messed up several transfers, knowing that he would be joining Chelski. The biggest one was Ronaldinho. The reason is, is he received a phone call prior, from one of Roman's advisors, part of the agreement was to mess up the Ronaldinho transfer. He failed to negotiate anything like what PSG wanted, and had to make several trips to France. The deal could and should of been tied up while Manutd were in the US, yet Fergie relied in him not knowing he would be leaving for Chelski.
While he was on gardening leave, he was secretly, planning to hijack Manutd's future transfer targets; Roben was one.
He tried to hijack, Ronaldo and Saha at a later date also.
So Kenyon did play a big part in us faltering, the btard.
What proof do you have? Not agreeing or disagreeing, but that's quite an accusation.

And if he continues to make fools of opposition defenders he'll need to wrap himself up like a mummy before next season's through :)

The Brothers Neville are in the England team for Euro 2004, including Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes
Saha and Silvestre are both in the French squad.
Ronaldo is in the Portugal squad - listed as striker, btw.
Ruud will be in the Holland squad, obviously.

Here's hoping they all play well and more importantly avoid injury!
It should be interesting to see how Ronaldo does as a striker, or if he is even played there despite the listing.

Chelski are after Gerrard Now :? Peter ass wipe has offered 30 million. Will someone find this rabbit poop and stick him grr. We should offer 32million. We can afford it, if Chelski want him so bad lets have a war so they have to spend 50 million to get him.

Thats where he played at Sporting, I see no reason why they would shift him... they have Figo, Quaresma and others on the wings... so I doubt we will see Ronaldo on the flank for them... he really is a good shooter.. not the most powerful, but lots of placement and swerve... more than most i would say.. he does not have the quick release shot like Ruud, or Vieri, or Pippo but due to his ability to stare defenders down and make them back up he does not really need it... if he aquired the technique that Ruud has on his shots, he would be very very effective upfront.. also at 6' tall he is big for a Portuguese player and while he aint Bierhoff, he's a bit more of a target than some... all in all, whereever they use him, I hope he plays a good deal...

Quaresma was left out of the squad due to injury/form....so maybe C Ron will see time on the wings for Portugal.

Quaresma wouldn't have made the squad to be honest. Boa Morte would have started over Quaresma. But our best wingers are figo and sabrosa. I guess CRon could oust sabrosa, but I'd be surprised. I think he's going to be one of thise 65th min subs when the def is already tired.

Barthez is playing in the UEFA Cup Final with Marseille today:
Barthez got sent off 1 minute before half time after Mista had rounded him and Barthez had no choice but to take him out, Valencia scored the penalty against the back up keeper

Tim Howard has been called up to the US Squad for their opening World Cup Qualifier against Honduras. Brad Freidel will be the other keeper on the roster.

On the run of form over the last 9 months, Timmy definitely deserves to start.

I believe this is a Friendly. Our WCQ opener is against Grenada.

Arenas is in a bit of a quandry with his keepers. He has three excellent keepers, and they all need caps to keep their work permits, right?

That is a fantastic pic, Motterman. I love how all the players are still looking with anticipation, as nobody has quite yet reacted to the ball going in the net.
