O'Neill hits back at Mourinho

Finally, someone from outside ManU speaks out! And they wonder why Keane "only" got a 1 match ban.

From the SUN
'STRUGGLING Manchester United could be torn apart at the end of the season.
Old Trafford insiders fear injury-hit skipper Roy Keane will quit, while Real Madrid are ready with a £25m bid to try to lure Ruud van Nistelrooy to Spain.
Keane, 32, will sit down with Alex Ferguson to decide on his future. A United source said: “You cannot tell what Roy is going to do. But if he feels he can’t play to his very best at the top level, he could be ready to call it a day.”********ing muckrakers always have to make up a story somewhere...
You know, this Ruuuuuud bit is much like the Beckham story last year. All year long we heard rumors but everyone denied them and said they were garbage. All of a sudden though, Becks was sold.
I can't imagine this could happen next season but, with all the press, it seems Ruud and Al haven't been getting along. Whether those stories are BS or not, I don't know, but there havs been so many of the stories that its hard not to think that there has to be some truth to them.
The Mirror exclusively reports: "Giggs, Forlan and Butt top of the United hit-list." According to this report, Ryan Giggs is set to lead the exodus of big name stars leaving Old Trafford. Giggs, along with Nicky Butt and Diego Forlan, are set to be axed in the summer when Alex Ferguson tries to rebuild his squad. No ********ing way Giggs leaves.

I hope you are right, however, Sir Alex can be ruthless, which is one of the many reasons for his successes. It would, in many ways, be more painful than Beckham leaving....

Yes it would, because Giggs is still one of the best left wingers in the whole world.
Of course, he has to play out there to be effective...

The one player I wish to see linked with ManU is Aliaksandr Hleb. Let Chelski have Robben as long as we pick up Hleb.

If Ruud goes anywhere I would rather he go to Barca for say, Saviola and Kluivert...
I would hate to give Madrid Beckham and Ruud in consecutive years...
If Ruud goes anywhere there must be one stipulation... he does not leave until his replacement is here in Manchester... not in the bag, or virtually signed... actually here and in training damnit...
Giggs goes nowhere, unless we land VdV, then we can sell Giggs to whomever, possibly Juve or Milan although he does not play much defense from an Italian league standpoint...
Good bye Butt... i wont miss him... good lad, good player, but this is a competitive world, he does not have what it takes..

from Renews - "It was decided that G14 clubs would not take part in the World Club Championship. We were following on from the views expressed at the recent European Club Forum in Barcelona and this was a ratification of that decision." - Gill

Basically, Wenger says Rio got screwed and that he's sure Rio wasn't doping.
Just thought you guys might want to know that "Le Boss" doesn't always have bad things to say about ManU

Wow, am I the only one who did not know Timmy suffered from Tourrette's? I just read it at Soccernet... the story was not about that, it just mentioned it in passing, but I never knew...

Scholes must've been reading BigSoccer: PAUL OVER THE PLACE
According to this report in The Sun, Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes is fed up with constantly switching positions and he feels his form has suffered because of it. He said: "Sometimes it is difficult when you are being swapped about. It is frustrating going into a game not knowing where you'll be playing. I have been on the right, left, in the middle and up front. It has been awkward but you just have to get on with it. I have scored a few goals but my performances have not been anywhere near as good as last year." (from 4theGame's "What the Papers Say" today).
******** - Giggs is rumored to be 50/50 for coming back next season and if SCholes keeps this sort of talk up, he'll be 30/70...

Neville must have been reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland:

It's a joke, guys! I know he doesn't have much else to say, and it wouldn't look right to have him say "We're done. It's over". I'm pretty sure that would go over like a lead balloon at OT

Madds Timm is leaving on loan to play for some team called the Vikings... he will be back for preseason training - I wonder if the board would consider selling Forlan without buying another striker seeing that we have Ruud, Saha and OGS as well as Scholes and Ronaldo who could be second strikers... and of course if they have seen something in Timm he would be another option.
