This goal almost makes Van der Vart's diving backheel look pedestrian...

I showed it to a fan not as involved as I am and the first thing she said was wow, was that a reverse bicycle kick? and damn i cannot disagree...

Keano on not playing in every match:

"I would like to play in every game but the manager looks at the bigger picture and what is best for Manchester United. Whether I like it or not is not an issue. In a sense, I agree with what he is saying because I think I will feel the benefit over the next couple of seasons. If I miss a big match this week I will be disappointed but there will be other players left out as well who will feel exactly the same."

Maybe, this is a sideways comment on Butt? :D

Fergie on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer:

"We anticipate he'll be back in January. It's really about muscle build up on his thigh that is keeping him back at the moment."

Quinton Fortune is not in the South Africa squad for the Africa Nations Cup.

This is GREAT news!

Now, if Brown keeps healthy, we can probably make it till Rio comes back if he's banned 2-3 months.

LATEST: Man Utd complete £1m swoop for Wimbledon youngster Lee Martin. More soon...

Looks like the initial fee is £200,000, which could rise to as much as £1m based on his performance. Never heard of this kid before, but it'll surely be a change to go from playing in front of 500 Wimbledon fans to possibly being in front of 67,000 United supporters.

What possition does the kid play???
Hmm, Ronaldo, Dong and him, added to Bellion, Dj-Dj, Fletcher looks like our reserve team should be in good shape next season...

Not that it matters but has a team ever won, Youth, Reserve and Prem titles??? that would make a helluva trivia question...

Yeah, I'm gifted like that, but wow, never heard of Dudu, his parents should be slain, by Davids and Keane, then fed to Gattuso

I'm not a big follower of Man Utd. I know the players but I mostly pay attention to La Liga. Actually I do go to see Man Utd lose. However, 8 Months for RIO is a joke and a farce.

More than likely it will be reduced to something less than 4 months. Or the FA could say (6 weeks and No Euro 2004)

Most people believe is Blatter-tampering. Personally, I hope the Players Protest and Erikssons first 30 players decline to join to Euro Squad. That'll settle the FA's hash. The thought of England being bounced in the first round of the Euro should wake the FA up. Missing a test...well re-test him. Jeez. The purpose of the test is to prevent doping not suspend players for not following asinine rules.

I know others have mentioned the loaning of Rio, and if even to the MLS. Or the Australian League. But if Rio really wants to make the Euro squad provided the necessary ban reduction. Where could he go? What languages other than English does Rio speak?
