Toss-pot. Related to the term Tosser. Tosser is related to Wanker. You can probably figure out the rest. :D

I thought the term "Toss-pot" refered to the chamber pots people kept in their house during the Midevil days. Much like todays common toilet. Except instead of flushing when the pot became full they would toss it out in the street. Thus helping perpetuate the spread of diseases.

Spanish Press are attacking Real Madrid's Carlos Querioz's squad rotation policy (despite them going top on the weekend after a close 2-1 win):
But the Real players came to the backing of their coach.
"He was the one who coached Manchester United while (Alex) Ferguson stayed in his office," said Brazil World Cup defender Roberto Carlos.
Well, we can effectivley rule out Roberto Carlos ever coming to Old Trafford, can't we? :D

Thank God! We don't need a leftback who cannot tackle who couldn't win headers in a high-school league...
The man is overrated if ever anyone was.

Kevin Keegan refused to condemn his Manchester City side after they crashed out of the UEFA Cup tonight at the hands of Groclin(!?!?).
Nicolas Anelka and Robbie Fowler both squandered good chances to seal victory against Groclin(!?!?).
GROCLIN!?!?
Who the hell is Groclin?
LOL!!!

From Yahoo news:
LONDON (Reuters) - A Manchester United fan donated cells so his brother could have a life-saving transplant -- on condition his sibling switched his support from arch rivals Manchester City.
Retired management consultant Martin Warburton, 50, asked his brother Paul, 59, to sign a light-hearted contract pledging to join the United fan club.
"We made a great joke of the contract, but he still agreed to sign," Martin Warburton told Friday's Daily Telegraph newspaper. "I just hope now that it will save his life."
Paul, who had the transplant to fight lymphatic leukaemia, was philosophical over the switch between the fiercely competitive teams.
"I was really lucky that Martin's cells matched," said Paul. "But he had to be a Reds' supporter, didn't he?"
Saving the planet, one Red at a time. :D

United shares soar following buy-up
Shares in Manchester United have risen towards a three-year high after a German bank confirmed it had bought a stake in the Premier League champions.
Commerzbank said it had made the purchase on behalf of a client, but declined to reveal the identity or the size of the stake involved.
A report in The Guardian today said the stake was near 6% - worth around £30 million - and said the likely broker was the London head of Commerzbank, Mehmet Dalman.
If confirmed the deal would make Mr Dalman, a known Manchester United fan, one of the largest shareholders in the club and spark fresh speculation that it could be taken over.

Giggs and Ronaldo Fined (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/headlinenews?id=284876&cc=5901)
Giggs received a £7,500 penalty, while Ronaldo must fork out £4,000 as punishment for their part in the fracas which followed Manchester United's 0-0 draw with Arsenal at Old Trafford on September 21.
Both players were found guilty of improper conduct but the relatively small fines compared to the combined nine-match bans handed down to Lauren, Martin Keown and Ray Parlour indicate that the FA felt their indiscretions were minor.

"Manchester United have won the race to sign Dalian Shide striker Dong Fangzhuo. Although some reports in England have suggested Newcastle United were the new favourites to land the 18-year-old Asian talent, skysports.com understands that the player will sign a contract with the Premiership champions within the next fortnight."

Fergie addresses takeover rumours:
"There's certainly a lot of share-buying going on. Everyone seems to be speculating but as long as I've got control of my team it doesn't matter, does it?"
