Great interview with Jonathan Northcroft and Fergie !
My favorite bit talking about Rooney :D
He’ll play anywhere you ask. I mean, he says to me the other week, ‘Boss, I can play centre-half’. He’s said it half-a-dozen times. ‘I played centre-half for the school, you know’. I said, ‘But we’re playing against Drogba…’

Great interview. Fergie really is a character, I love listening to his press conferences and interviews. I find it hard to believe that he'll be able to retire from management before he turns 70. As he said it's certainly a lot easier to say you're going to retire than to actually do so. I have no doubt that he'll continue in some sort of roll with the club for as long as he lives, and even after that. I never thought that Fergie might match Sir Matt's tenure and then call it quits, if anyone is wary of history like that, it is certainly Sir Alex.
My two favorite quotes:
Wayne’s a winner. It doesn’t bother him one bit. He’s got that, I suppose, Liverpool attitude, that ‘bugger you all’ type thing.
“Yeah. He’s a local boy. He comes from 35 miles away. Okay, so not exactly ‘local’. I mean, you can’t say Liverpool’s ‘local’ to anything….”

He’s fantastic when he’s aggressive up front but when he drops in he offers so many options in terms of balance and looking at a situation quickly. So we’ve got to make up our mind. It would help me if we could get another player, a centre-forward maybe.”
Yes Fergie! Yes! Rooney, free role, support striker! That's what I'm talking about!

Great interview... Loving the sly digs at the Scousers as well. :D
My old man was telling me about Sir Matt's last match in charge and how emotional Old Trafford was the other day, said only the first game after Munich and Wembley 68 were better... Cannot imagine the atmosphere at OT the day Fergie leaves us. :(

Class interview. He goes from strength to strength and breeds confidence. His personality is second to none which is one of the reasons he's already planning for next season. In three years we'll see where we are.
