Update: AC Milan and Fiorentina have agreed to a € 14 million transfer that will reunited the forward with coach Cesare Prandelli, Goal.com reports.
Analysis: Great move for Gilardino, Fiorentina and AC Milan. The player will still be playing for a top club, but this time he will not have the pressure he has had at AC Milan. Gilardino needs a confidence boost so he can get back in the Italian National team. He scored Italy's goal in its 1-1 tie with the U.S. in the 2006 World Cup.
