What is the motivation for "Goal of the Day"? Obviously we can all examine the "Hit Parade" on the MLS website. If it is to draw our attention to the best goals of the weekend, there is a strong argument for Stoitchkov.

Should we instead make this a poll-thread, in the sense that people vote for their favorite goal of the weekend, discussing the relative merits of one goal over another?

Am I wrong in saying that most of you would enjoy seeing a cracker of a goal everyday....
