According to the soccernet.com article, 600 Nationwide players are on the scrap heap due to the ITV debacle.

I wonder if MLS' is making a pitch for any of these players? Surely the league could get 10-20 Nationwide players on the "cheap" that could improve the level of play in the league. Maybe next season.

I wouldn't have thought getting too many of them would be too good for you, but there should be a few decent possibilities in there.

With a deal like that, they might as well go to the BBC, even if they are offfering slightly less.

Football League Highlights heading to ITV

The season is already underway but no highlights programme has yet been sorted out. It was expected the rights would be sold shortly after the live rights were sold to SKY...

Well for one I'd rather see them on terrrestrial TV.
