First of all I would like to congratulate myself and all Man United fans on our double this season, and hopefully we can top this achievement next season:)
_________
"His passes are 90% spot on, he keeps the ball well -maybe too long on occasions, he's short, he's slow, he's everything you don't need in a Man U striker these days!!!"
This is how I described Tevez to a friend as his transfer story continued to make the headlines of sport news at the begining of the season.
"He somehow reminds me of Heskey at Liverpool! He was always where they wanted him to be, but seldom scored!!!"
That's what I said about him mid-season.
"With 19 goals you'd think he's our all new Ruud Van Nistelroy, if RVN was in Tevez's shoes this season, he would have been competing with Ronaldo's 42!!!"
That's my way to sum up Tevez's season with us yesterday.
_____
Don't get me wrong, Tevez has been good for us, He saved our days work on many occasions this season, for example, Liverpool (A), Spurs (A), Blackburn (A) and most importantly Lyon (A). But as I remember his match savers, I remember many of the wasted chances especially those of yesterday.
I am not saying that he should pack his things and leave Man U forever, on the contrary, I think he's a good buy for us -especially now- while we need a player with his qualities to sub Scholes when he retires... so what we need from the transfer period is a good striker... a Man United striker.
