I am a Dundee FC supporter, and am looking forward to the UEFA Cup games with Perugia.

This is our first European appearance for 29 years, so I had never seen my team in Europe until I went to Albania last month.

Can any Perugia fans give me some advice on travelling there - intend going for 4-5 nights. Where is the best area to stay in and around Perugia?

I am flying to Pisa and will get the train from there.

Dundee should take 300-400 fans over.

We have a few good players -

Nemsadze - played in Serie A & captain of Georgian.

Caballero - ex Arsenal. Great striker.

Carranza - Argentina Internationalist.

We are also trying to sign Kinkladze.

We also had Caniggia for a year not so long ago.

We have had a number of Italians at Dens Park - Ivano & Dario Bonetti, Marco De Marchi, Patrizio Billio, Mauro Vargiu, Marcello Marrocco, Marco Russo, Marco Roccatti etc!!

Forza Dundee & Perugia!

I was in Perugia last December. Saw a game that week as well.

We stayed at the Hotel Tevri. I think that is right, it was about 15 minutes from the stadium, and I think you could get a cab from there no worries.

If I could have done it again, I would have stayed at the Four Seasons (Quatro Stazione or something like that) in Perugia's old city. Our hotel had nothing going on in the area. I found it frustrating being so far from civilization.

I have some pictures from the trip, I'll see if I can post them for you.

The stadium isn't great by any means, but its nice. Holds about 26,000. Normally they average about 13,000.

They have an English pub in the Old City area, all the waitresss spoke English.

Food is great, and don't forget to bring the chocos home.
