Euro 2008 Prediction League [R]

Game rules:
1) Input ALL group phase matches at once
2) After the group phase is over, you enter quarterfinals scores
3) After the quarterfinals are over, you enter semifinals AND finals
4) NO LATE ENTRIES

Scoring:
1) Group Phase - 2 points for correct result, 1 point for correct score
2) Quarterfinals - 3 points for correct result, 1 points for correct score
3) Semi-Finals - 4 points for correct result, 1 points for correct score
4) Finals - 5 points for correct result, 1 points for correct score

NOTE!!!! - A 3-2 victory in 90 minutes is THE SAME as a 3-2 victory after 120 minutes which is also THE SAME as a 2-2 game being decided on PKs

The rules, which make it easier to keep track of scores:
1) keep the matches in order
2) put the score in between the teams
3) separate scores with a colon

Would have been in solid position after first two sets of games (had Czech's, Portugal, Germany, and Croatia winning for obvious reasons), but yesterdays games would have killed me as I had France and Italy winning (though I'm happy neither did).

Anyway, great job w/the set up, just bummed I didn't see this until it was too late. Would have liked to have seen if i could have equaled my runner up position from the World Cup '06 picking contest.

I could, but it would be a macro, and most people dont want to open an excel spreadsheet that has macros because they can contain viruses.

points back is how far back you are from first place. (it only works when sorted with first place at the top.)
