It really was three of the longest hours of my life. I cried. I also destroyed my living room in celebration. During the shootout I grabbed a pair of empty Coke cans just to have a little more read. Watched the shootout from my was room as well, one eye open.

You know what got me?
It started when Sir Bobby walked up to Rio as they were waiting for the presentation to start. After Robson congradulated him you could see Rio say something to him like "This one is for your team".
To see Robson lead the team up to the trophy, and then refuse to let Platini put the medal on him as if to pass the torch was just too much for me.
