I think driving is way more difficult. I'm a pretty damn good putter I love the short game. But swinging and driving I suck at. To me thats one of the most difficult things to do in sports to hit a good long drive.

Try using a long iron off the tee instead of a driver. Less distance but more accurancy = lower score.

What I've noticed with people is that when they pull out their driver or any of their other woods they try to Tiger Woods their swing. In my case I have this horrendous slice. But when you pull out your irons you tend to take a more focused, smoother swing.

Getting it past the miniature windmill has been my toughest shot.

Keeping my mental sanity was my toughest thing with golf. That's why I don't play anymore.

A 150 yard tee shot down the middle of the fairway is highly preferable to a 300 yard tee shot into the ditch beside the freeway alongside the course.

I have such a problem with getting enough distance with long irons that I'd rather take my chances with the driver off the tee. Usually doesn't work but what can I say.

Drink a beer per hole. After 8 or 9 holes, who really cares.
