I know it's the reserves and a good number of teams have some solid players on the reserves but still it's an upset. And it's not like Ajax and their reserves who made it to the semis of the Dutch Cup. Wolfsburg is hardly Bayern Munchen either. Some wild scores today as well. Perhaps if people know they can put the leagues that these teams are in as well for the results?

Smooth win without doing a step more than necessary.

Giant luck for Cologne to score the equaliser two minutes before completing the disgrace. In overtime the amateurs ran out of power.

0:2 Bajramovic (23)
0:3 Cairo (42)
1:3 Khalil (57)

1:0 Rische (23)
2:0 Mazingu (50)
2:1 Klose (61)
3:1 Rische (67)
4:1 Fuchs (89)
The game looked like Bundesliga vs Regionalliga with Braunschweig being the team on Bundesliga level… Ex-Lautern player Rische was involved in three of the four goals.

Thanks. I was curious about those earlier games. That Kaiserlautern score is surprising though.

" 80 yards solo run" Braunschweig in the second division next year? Perhaps.

Would have loved to seen that. Also Cologne are lucky too.

Also missing from yesterday:
SSV Reutlingen (4)-Hertha BSC 1:6 (at least i didn't saw it)

Now i would like to express my happiness with this funny little celebration smiley:
http://www.smiley.de/smileys/party022.gif (allthough i think that all this talk about a "Pokalsensation" is a bit exaggerated if you consider the recent form of both clubs and that Eintracht Braunschweig is a full professional side. A bit surprising maybe, but not a sensation as it is claimed by some newspapers or TV stations).

Why oh why isn't the Offenbach-Frankfurt game televised tonight? By far the most interesting game of the first round.
