This is a very worthy cause, and you can make a real difference with a small contribution.

Includes free pool/darts and drink specials

This sounds intriguing. So you get all liquored up and throw darts at people swimming in a pool? Man, you have some dedicated volunteers!

It's the upgraded version of this summer funtime classic

(The neighbor boy I hung out with as a kid had a set, man they were fun. And no one lost an eye!)

We need a rough head count on who's coming to this fine shindig. If you're planning on attending, please shoot me a pm and I'll just add numbers to my guest count on the Evite (or if you send me your email address I can shoot you the Evite).

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who came out last night, I believe the total money raised was $700. The head of this program at the United Nations Foundation was in attendance andMLS W.O.R.K.S (http://web.mlsnet.com/mls/programs/mls_works/) (the charitable arm of MLS) heard about it as well so they are going to be using our event as a model to encourage other supporters clubs around the league to get involved in this effort.
