I don't see whats the use , If Panama can't beat a team like El Salvador when it matters what the hell is the use??? $20 Million???

I think it would be wiser to build more smaller cap. stadiums(7-8K) since Panamenos arn't that big into local futbol anyway,, this would help attract more fans ... to the sport .. BTW Doesn't Turo FC ,and Arabe Unido FC.,or Pan Dulce FC play in the same stadium??? teams need their own stadium ..

Just cause Panama lost the series to El Salvador doesn't mean they should give up on football and not build a decent football specific stadium. I mean they're arguably one of the better teams in the CONCACAF region, certinly no Mexico or anything like that, but they deserve to have a new stadium.

Don't forget the USA was building new stadiums way back when they were lossing almost every game by atleast 4+ goals, and everyone prefered NFL, Baseball or Hockey, now look how you've turned out.

You gotta start somewhere.

I say go for it, and good luck to them :)

A team like ES? Maybe you should realize that ES is getting better, and our Football is not a joke. We will soon again be at the top trust me.

...........yawn.....

Who are you that anyone should trust??? are you a sports analyst??

Again??? when was el Salvador EVER at the TOP?? when??....

El Salvador getting better??? pffft! ....Realistically though celebrating empate's w/ the Dominican Republic is NOT my idea of them getting any better , 1 win over Panama is not going to get your country any closer to 2010SA since you'll get annihilated by; Costa Rica or Honduras Or Guatemala or Canada or Mexico or USA eventually... Just watch

When they get rid of the corrupt directivos then maybe they'll have some chance of putting together a decent team maybe.... As Far as Panama they were a much better team that unfortunately lost in EL SAL by 1 goal too many and got disqualified.... I actually was watching this game till Panama scored At this moment i turned off the game it was a borefest.. and i was surprised to see the next day the Guanacos turned it around .. Good job but eventually luck runs out and you guy's will be back to square 1... waiting for 2014 ... your competition is much stronger and there is no way EL SAl will take Costa Rica's #3 spot....

Dadgum. Would the two of you take this crap outside? Hopefully a mod edits all that junk out.

As to the thread news -- good for Panama. They're a quality side and I have enjoyed our games against them in the past. Hopefully this is a sign of future improvement to come.

As far as the thread I think it's a very Bad Idea to waste $20Million of tax payers money on the Stadium I 've seen the stadium first hand , the only time its full is when the Nat. team plays Mex,USA or someone of importance.

they could make much better use of the funds by Building more Soccer specific stadiums around for the local clubs.. Panama is full of baseball fields ...and it wasn't untill recently that people have had futbol fever! last 6-7 years maybe 10..
