Not to burst your bubble, guys, as I think Chile have very good players rising through the ranks (Matí Fernández, Valdivia, Vidal, Luis Jiménez), but the France team that you went against today is essentially a B version of our U-21 team. I'm not saying they aren't decent players, but actually, after you consider that as it is, our U-21 team is weakened enough due to their being many who are already full internationals (Benzema, Ben Arfa, Nasri), as well as our regular U-21 internationals aren't at Toulon, then yeah, I don't think you went against a team that would truly represent our strength at that level.
Nevertheless, congrats on the win as it appears it was an exciting game. :)

Hi SuperSeb:
Well, you don't have Benzema and the other 2 guys, and maybe some other good players, but we don't have in Touloun good U23 players like Alexis Sánchez(River Plate/Argentina), Matías Fernández (Villarreal/Spain), Mark González (Real Betis/Spain), Arturo Vidal (Bayer Leverkusen/Germany), Bryan Danesi (O'Higgins), Mauricio Isla (Udinese/Ita), Cristián Suárez(Corinthians/Brazil), etc.
By the way, our "B" U23 squad beat Croatia yesterday too.:)

Fair enough, and I listed Matí Fernández, Vidal, etc. among those whom I hold in very high regard. No doubt the accomplishments of your team are to be commended, but all I'm saying is, I actually had to go googling around to know who some of the French players at Toulon actually are! :D
Anyway, I am hoping that you do well in World Cup qualifying. I know that Valdivia's been banned or something, though I think your team is good enough to qualify without him.

I'm angry against Faty.
The match was ours before his horrible tackle that didn't deserve anything but the colour of Hell.

Good game. Well, France is my favorite team internationally (after Chile of course). ive been supporting France before the 98 and in my opinion they are still of the favorites for this tourney.
I must say however, I was a little dissapointed bout the lack of enthuthiasm of French players towards their national song. On contrast Chilean players sang the whole song with no music, I could imagine the officials bored waiting for them to finish :p
And congrats to the French fans for being objective and unbiased when analysing the game.Like your opinion of the tackle for example. Its kind of rare to see it.

Don't mean to be a pain, but I see you're still fairly new to these boards (ok, two years...) and you probably haven't taken the time to familiarize yourself with some rules of etiquette.
Next time, please do not post the score of a game in the title. A good way to start a thread on this game would have been to post a message titled: "France v. Chile U-21 Toulon [R]." The [R] indicates that the result will be mentioned in the discussion--which is obviously fine. Thanks.

:o it's also my fault as a mod, since i could have changed it... i will now although it's obviously too late, since these matches sometimes get retransmitted days and days later.

Hmmm...I am surprised by your knowledge of Chilean football...I thought Valdivia was a well kept secret from S.America. He is Chile's number 10 and will soon come back from suspension. Mati Fernandez is his replacement for now (Mati is Chile's Nasri)
And yes, we know these are all U23 and U20 'B' teams in this tournament because it's not an official FIFA date, but it's still good to see your team come back from a 3-1 to finish 3-5!
From the French I like number 17.Bonnet...I thought he was the man of the match alongside 10.Morales from my team Universidad de Chile. :D

Not only was Bonnet impressive, but I think we have a future star in the making here. Exquisite technique.
