Neither.
If only we could of played as well as Italy did vs the Netherlands to get your crappy seal of approval.
Everything this guy supports turns to shit. :D Even Mario Gomis from Germany got this guy's "forza" and he was easily the worst player in Germany vs Poland.

Maniche from Inter Milan, was our best player the past two tournaments wasnt called..along with Manuel Fernandes( superb youngster from valencia) and antunes(roma) they were probably the three glaring omissions from our squad.
The way Manuel Fernandes has played this season he'd be lucky to get in the reserves.

On pure talent though hes probably our best centre midfielder. And the season before he was simply superb! but true, he wasnt in the same form this season.

man, these games go way to quickly, I'm surprised the next threads have not been made for tomorrow, the 11th ... but I"ve got to pull away from watching all of these, but if it be the African Cup, Asian Cup, Copa Americas but especially, World and Euro, I've been keeping up with it for 20 years.

On that note, I'll be supporting Portugal today. ;) And Gomes actually set up the first goal if you were paying attention. Watch the highlights. He's young and this is his first tournament, he did what he had to do. And everything I support turns to shit, how did Italy win the WC in 06? Even better, I had Greece winning the Euro in 04 (what a pay out that was!). Let's not forget my true love, from Serie C to Intertoto in 3 years. Now stop being a troll and starting shit off an opinion. Portugal were not superior, better yes, but not superior. They SORELY lack a target man, you can't get around that.

What is this philosophical proposition supposed to mean? That one has to thrash the opponent 8-0 to be "superior" or is something else required?
Portugal was "better" and hence "superior" to Turkey on the pitch and won deservedly.
They SORELY lack a target man, you can't get around that.Very true, but then again I'd add that what we will SORELY miss are friendly referees, the likes of whom Italy is used to have in these tournaments such as the one in Italy-Australia in 2006 WC.
That would be "superior"!
