The game is draw 1-1 with the Chech team to equalize at the end of the match. If Switzerland wins this game they will win the group.

This is going to be a good one. The Swiss have a great defense as seen at the World Cup, playing at home against a Czech side that is never very consistant at Tournaments.
I see the Swiss coming away with this one 1-0

:) The Swiss will finish at the bottom of a good group (even though they have the home field advantage) with only one point! They are outclassed by three teams that are superior. Portugal and Turkey move up.
In the first match for them the Czechs will win over the Swiss: 2-1

outclassed? you're joking right? by Portugal for sure
by Czech rep that might be

I don't know, playing on home turf always gives the team a boost.

:)Really...watch them...the Turks will be playing one of the most entertaining (creative, pinpoint-passing with a lot of ball skills in small spaces) games. Keep an eye on not just Nihat who Europe mainly talks about but also on Arda and Karadeniz.
The Turks like an attacking style of soccer and therefore can be scored upon--but only when they don't take the opponents too seriously. They are coming to this tournament highly focused. When they are on their game they will beat anyone as they have demonstarted many times since their rise have started in 1996.
The Swiss play with energy, but will fall short in technique when they play the Turqoise!

I haven't seen either of these teams play recently, but I'll tune in tomorrow.
I hope they start off the tournament in style.

I'm trying to pick the two teams that will go through for my pool, but I can't seem to make up my mind.
1. Portugal and 2. Czech Republic seems like the conservative "safe" pick, but I feel like Turkey can surprise and Switzerland have an excellent defense and can grind out a ticket to the next round. Help me out! I don't know what to do.
