These arent big name teams, but this match intrigues me. Winner of this game defenitley will take second place. This game is a total toss up, but i like the last post, winner by allback though. Greece defence seems to leak alot of goals.

Draw with 1-1 correct score. Sweden will open the score first 10 minutes and then control the game for first half. Greece balance the game in second half and equalize with a penalty or a defense mistake in the last 15 minutes

I believe 3-3 is just as likely as 1-1. Sweden's defense is in shambles, and the keepers are not really in form.
Somebody should still be able to score though, but I don't think it will be enough to win.

Would a Swedish member be able to confirm the likely Swedish team for this game, particularly defence. Will it be Hansson or Majstorovic?

But once our coach has a new "regular" (which Hansson became during the Euro qualifications), they have to pretty much be severely injured to miss out on a game. He'll go for experience over talent 99% of the time.
Probable defensive lineup: (from right)
Alexandersson - Mellberg - Hansson - Nilsson

Thanks for the reply Expat. I had figured that about Lagerback. By the same score, do you expect Larsson will be preferred to Elmander? And Larsson left out in favour of a more experienced midfielder, eg Svensson?

That would be Henrik to play, and Sebastian to miss out.

Elmander is recovering from injury and is not in form, it seems. Zlatan and H.Larsson are the most likely starters. Athough Rosenberg seems to be in good form, he's #3 in the forward ranking at the moment I would say.
As far as Sebastian Larsson, he is not competing with Svensson for a spot. S.Larsson is a right midfielder (in the national team at least, although he can play center), Svensson is central. The battle is between S.Larsson and Wilhelmsson on the right midfield. I hope S.Larsson plays.

Subscribing to this thread but I'm not expecting a high scoring game tomorrow in fact I saw this one ends 0-0

I think there will be at least 3 goals scored tomorrow, with one team winning 2-1... I certainly hope it will be Sweden. :)

Prediction: Greece 0-1 Sweden
Sweden in recent years seems to always do just enough in tournaments to advance to the next stage. I see that trend continuing this year.

Sweden is solid, I think they get the most out of their players than any other team in the tournament. Something tells me though that this go around they are just not ready. Ibrahimovic hasn't scored in a LONG time for Sweden, defensively they are no longer that lockdown force they were 4 years ago (Although Melleberg is one of my favorite players), and the keepers haven't had regular playing time. Too many question marks for my liking, but you never know. I Think we might finally see some goals in this match Greece will get a win, maybe a draw if Sweden takes hold of some momentum with a goal at an oppurtune moment.

Greece is gonna make it! I expect them to play very offensively, and this will irritate the Swedes. Good Luck from Turkey.

Alright... maybe this is the wrong forum to post this on but I've got a hunch neither of these teams make it to the QFs... Spain & Russia to surprise everyone.
