I figured that we could use this thread to discuss all things about the game. Formations, players, etc etc on both sides. I would like to start by presenting the players called up from Argentina:
Goalkeepers: Roberto Abbondanzieri (Getafe-Spain), Oscar Ustari (Getafe-Spain).
Defenders: Gabriel Heinze (Real Madrid-Spain), Fabricio Coloccini (Deportivo La Coruna-Spain), Gonzalo Rodríguez (Villarreal-Spain), Pablo Zabaleta (Espanyol-Spain), Nicolás Burdisso (Inter-Italy), Martín Demichelis (Bayern Munich-Germany).
Midfielders: Fernando Gago (Real Madrid-Spain), Maximiliano Rodríguez (Atlético Madrid-Spain), Jonás Gutiérrez (Mallorca-Spain), Ever Banega (Sevilla-Spain), Javier Zanetti (Inter-Italy), Esteban Cambiasso (Inter-Italy), José Sosa (Bayern Munich-Germany), Javier Mascherano (Liverpool-England).
Delanteros: Lionel Messi (Barcelona-Spain), Julio Cruz (Inter-Italy), Lisandro López (Porto-Portugal), Fernando Cavenaghi (Bordeaux-France), Sergio Agüero (Atlético Madrid-Spain).
A notable exclusion is Riquelme which I can only assume is because of Copa Libertadores duties.
A notable INCLUSION. One which I will be following closely is that of Fernando Cavenaghi. Cavegol has been a favorite of mine since his time at River. I always saw him as a replacement for Batistuta but his time in the Russian League put him in the cooler so to speak. Now after an amazing year in the french league I hope that he gets a start either against Mexico or Usa.
Who has the USA call ups? Can anyone post it?

Good Squad, look for the MLS players to play predominantly in the Argie game and the Euro players in the Engerland and Spain games

Argentina is looking to switch up their tactical formation for this tour in light of their Brazil match. They are going to play a 4-4-2.

Another notable player excluded from the Argentina list is TEVEZ. I think that his exclusion probably has more to do with the Champions League Final than anything else.
I would love to see him in San Diego and Giants Stadium.

I really hope that Bradley starts Robbie Rogers. This man is on fire and really should start against all three teams (spain, england and argentina).

I remember Cavenaghi coming up with River, and he was going to be the next argentine sensation. While it seems that he's had a decent career, he hasn't quite lived up to the hype? What can you tell me, Cosmos?

He was frozen in the Russian league. This past season he's been at Bordeuax (sp) and has been heating up the French League. His performance with the league is the main reason for his call up. Let me see if I can post for you a video of his goals this year.

Now he's shining in Ligue 1. Thank god, we were able to recover him!

I just love how this guy plays. Finesse, strength, precision, touch, its all there. I want to see him start against Mexico and the USA. Watching him live would be spectacular, I think that he will make a great partner for Messi, similar to Eto'o at Barcelona.

Don't mention it:D
I hope Basile starts him, he's our most talented "true" number 9. If he can play a good Champions League next season he'll leave for a bigger team.
