What a nerve-racking game!!! Don't know how we walked away with the win, especially considering how dangerous the attacking Dutch football was then. Kluivert was a beast then.

Just for the record, Italy has never beaten Holland in regulation time in any tournament.
(whether Euro or world cup)
We beat them in 1974 by a 2-0 score, and we tied in Euro 2000
(but Italy advanced on PK's)
In friendlies Holland does'nt do so well, Italy has 6 wins and 5 draws, Holland has
never beaten Italy in a friendly.
