haha... you guys already have Kuba at Dortmund :D if only he didn't play for the Poland NT at such a young age... if only :p
i'd shite a brick the day a player is allowed to play for one national team, then later in their career transfer to another... who knows with how ridiculous things have been in the past with Brasilians and other foreigners playing for other national teams... i wouldn't be surprised in the next 50 years if that happened eventually. hopefully it won't EVER though

Kuba has been far from stellar at BvB.

yeah same here...it'd be ridiculous. In that case scrap international football altogether!

i wouldn't let you guys have Lobo
of course Kuba has been less than stellar... give him some time. usually it takes a year or two for players to settle. i don't know what will become of him. maybe he can get out of Dortmund and transfer to another mid-to-bottom of the table club in Spain and blossom like Smolarek  i could only hope... or maybe he can step up at Dortmund :D

Hopefully our new manager, Klopp, will be able to bring out the best in him. I'm not blaming Doll for Kuba's shortcomings this last season -I blame him for a lot, but I am sure it didn't help either.

wasn't Kuba injured for a little bit to this season? :(

Anyway............ I hope Low experiments with Podolski in the midfield and it's a huge mistake. That's an advantage Poland can certainly use.

German defense is verrrrrry suspect and we will have our chances. I am fairly confident that three points is well within our reach....
I am looking forward to Dudka and Lewan's handling of Ballack....without the engine - the car can't run, eh?

haha... unless you push it ;) :D :p
on a serious note, my thoughts exactly... Ballack is extraordinary and would be able to take care of business if one of those guys were out there, BUT BOTH Dudka and Lewandowski??? all three of them (ballack included) will have their hands full, to say the least since Ballack has to try and be efficient in the offense and Dudka/Lewandowski will have to stop him... it should be an interesting chess match between Low and Beenhakker

I hope the Polish team thinks the same way. In that case, it's going to be a walk in the park for Germany.

we'll see how Lahm's cut to his right foot works on the right flanks HAHA, and don't worry i'll keep track of how many shots Schweinsteiger blasts into the 10th row behind the goal, and on diva watch i wonder if Frings will have another one of his ego outbursts that causes a distraction in the lockerroom like he's done in the past, also it should be interesting to see Lehmann's amazing form in goal since he's had such a phenomenal year at Arsenal with all those blunders practically giving away his spot to Almunia without a fight, oh yea and i can't wait to find out as well who this mysterious Right-Mid is :p
with that said, it'll be a duel... do i think Poland will win? who knows... but i know they won't go down without a fight and whatever happens happens. no matter what we say now or later, we can not prevent what will happen. it will happen regardless. if you think Germany will win more power to you. but i'm pretty sure in the World Cup Germany thought there would be a walk in the park and it turned out you guys needed a late stoppage time winner by Neuville of all people
but this time around we have a competant coach at the helm in Beenhakker

He played there before, and not bad at all. If he's going to play LM during the tournament, we could start with Klose and Gomez up front. Can't see why this should be advantageous to anyone but ourselves.

I agree...he has played there for Bayern last season and has done quiet well.

Haha, very funny. After all that selfconfidence and mocking of our team I'm sure you can take some Schadenfreude should it all go horribly wrong for the Polish band.;)
I'd be happy to reciprocate with some mockery but unfortunately I know next to nothing about your players.

First of all, I didn't know that Podolski ever played in the midfield. Second of all, I wasn't saying that having Gomez and Klose up front would be "advantageous" to the opposition. I simply implied that Podolski playing a position he doesn't usually play, could possibly be an advantage for Poland.

And why?
Don't get me wrong, his accomplishments are great. He made something out of nothing with T&T and has an impressive resume with his work with Madrid, Ajax, and the Netherlands.
But I find the way he has handled Poland's European qualification to be extremely sporadic. He put out a magnificent team that beat Portugal 2-1, but then barley was able to beat Armenia. I find his team selection leaves much to be desired, and although he is good at constructing a defense, you can't win the match unless you score. I am not saying that he is not a very good manager, I just think he is overrated due to his poor tournament success (specifically the Netherlands). In a situation where one poor match can cost Poland's chances for the second round, I don't see him making it past the first three matches.

Poland is not a focking powerhouse man... so i don't know how high your fricken expecations are for them. they overachieved and won in a pretty tough Euro qualifying group that included the likes of Portugal, Serbia, Finland, and Belgium. and although they may not have put together the best performances at times, they have gotten the job done. and Poland doesn't even have any superstars like Ballack, Lahm, Klose, etc. To make Beenhakker sound overrated is ridiculous. Poland had two good outtings against Portugal who have players like Quaresma, Simao, Deco, Christiano Ronaldo, Lissandro Lopez, Moutinho, Maniche, etc. Poland is not near their class but they got the job done. Poland were NEVER favorites in this matchup, but the great thing about these matches that we all know... is that matches aren't played out on paper.
