"
I wanted to watch ESPN2's analysis, but my stream just turned to porn. Jeez!"

No no no that is the correct stream.

Julie Foudy is being manhandled by Tommy live on the air now.

Tommy can do better. Oh, ouch. Sorry.

ETA: I read your post wrong. Dirtymind, I guess. Never mind. I'm ashamed of myself for putting down Julie anyway. Nice girl, good footballer. *Feels better* :D

I don't see how people can blame the initial miss on Gomez when Klose was the one who put the shit ball across. Either shoot or make a good pass, don't do neither Miroslav. Thankfully he learned his lesson later on.

"

It's now 2:0 Poland Squad 'A' vs Poland Squad 'B' with a Brazilian 'D' player."

Now THAT is funny (sucking up to the enemy nation moderator here :))

Wow that was dangerous!
Lehman is not one of the greatest goalkeepers...
You know who has good goalkeepers? Poland Squad 'B':D (and USA).

Keller, Hahnemann, Schwarzer should have been eligible to play for Poland 'A` ;)

Well, I don't think BigSoccer likes postings about streams, but I was using TVU to watch ESPN2.

I switched back to it a min ago, and they're back for the soccer. *Happy*
LOL Porn on TVU, that's a new one.

No, it wasn't a great pass, but that's one that still gets put away by most strikers. Your passes won't always be perfect.

Nice deflection, but Gomez screwed that up, not Klose.

After this game though, I must say that Germany did not look like a genuine title contender to me.

Vulnerable midfield and flanks.

I am with Teso and the Guardian commentary on this one:

"5 min: How on earth have the Germans missed that? Klose is played in and charges into the Polish box unmarked as the keeper rushes out. At the last minute he ridiculously slides the ball across to Gomez. The pass is too far in front of the striker and he can't put it into the empty net. Klose should have taken it on himself. He's an idiot."

"He's an idiot.",,, i think he changed his mind after the first goal...:)
that was called a lost chance. end of the discussion

Watching the replay now. Gomez was trying to stay onside - that slowed him down. Klose should have gone for goal. I'm downloading all the goals of this Euro championship so I can watch them again and again. :p. Looking at that first goal for the umpteenth time tonight - I still think Klose was offside on the first goal.

I think the commentator is the f#cking idiot. Boruc had Klose cut off. That pass was not so far in front of Gomez that he couldn't convert it and Gomez knew it.

Also, if Klose takes the shot and Boruc makes the save, then Klose is the idiot for not passing to a wide-open Gomez.

I saw and can see that for myself. Don't need a commentator to tell me what happened.

He wasn't, ESPN just did one of those digital analysis...

Also, I agree...not Gomez' fault on the miss.

Of course the Guardian commentator was over the top on this one. Klose is certainly not an idiot and he had a good match tonight.

As they did at halftime here, but the commentators keep stoking it by saying he was offside. It is like they are trying to create controversy.

Idiots.

Lets be prepared for the riots in Klagenfurt.

Hahaha, as I said. The german state television just announced that 140 german hooligans were arrested, after doing riots and shouting neo-nazi slogans.

The game just begun!

Interestingly, Podolski DID NOT celebrate his goals.

The truth is, he asked Poland to play for his country, but at the time PZPN (polish assoc of footy "experten") told him and the press that they have enough quality strikers (excuse me, while I choke to death from laughter :D)

Maybe Jerzy Engel is German...:D (That would be a logical explanation)

i dont know from where u get myths like "podolski asked poland to play for them".
As soon as he played in professionel football there was no doubt that he would play for germany and this discussion is getting really old.
He grew up in germany, went through german clubs and thats where he learned to play football so can we quit this discussion or do you ppl rly wanna start a discussion about ethnics?
That he still shows respect to the country of his ancestors is a nice gesture but ppl put a bit too much into it (i am german while having croatian ancestors, id do it like Podolski even though i feel 100% as german).
