What happened to the 1/2 nigerian midfielder Germany had from the WC? Other thsn him, a great German team.
Odonkor? Prob on bench? I think he played at one of the friendlies a couple weeks ago.

You're thinking of David Odonkor, who's on the team. His father is Ghanaian, not Nigerian.

The only thing watching this is it reminds me of WC'06 and the Germans had one of the epic World Cup journeys that I have seen down to their crushing defeat to Italy.
I will have to get a good DVD of it. If anyone has any recommendations, in german preferably.

Well, I don't think BigSoccer likes postings about streams, but I was using TVU to watch ESPN2.
I switched back to it a min ago, and they're back for the soccer. *Happy*
