We are in the Letters to the Editor - ha ha - I wrote the letter about 4 - 5 months ago when we first started our movement.

Yea man - no doubt we built off the momentum of you guys - you set the groundwork for grassroots in this country - Of course we will try to get in FOUR FOUR Two - i have put out emails its just like Kings said - its kind of repetitive - we want to generate some news first, which we are in the works of doing - plus our outings are coming up so that should get us in some papers.

Cant wait to pop open a beer and shake hands on the 8th dude! You should come down the night before if possible -

That first letter about soccer being called football until the 70s is my new retort when someone mentions US tradition as the reason that i have to call it soccer.

Personally I don't care to be written up in 442. I'm not saying this as a slight to you Dillon or the SOB's but I say this because I would much rather that the impending team for NYC get all the fan fare. An article about the Boro Boys or anyone else within this organization will do little in terms of TRUE awareness.

Now if you write about all the possibilities, the potential investors, present diagrams and such then that story has a greater ability to influence and bring back change.

I want a team, I've been waiting for a team and I'll continue holding out for a team. Maybe I'm a little more hard line or more ultra but my prime objective is to see a team playing in NYC.

i completely agree, and will admit that the coverage in that mag was basically a fluke. steven wells, who wrote that article, also writes for The Philadelphia Weekly and The Guardian, and has covered SoB extensively through both those publications (moreso the former). if it wasn't for the coincidence that a philly resident has that connection with a few media outlets, there wouldn't have been nearly as much hub-bub written about SoB.

Please don't get me wrong. In NO WAY did I wish my comments to be interpreted in a negative light. Also I didn't mean to say that SOB's media success was wrong or anything of the sort.

I just wanted to state that personally I really don't care so much for that type of media. I would rather focus it more on the team and the efforts that are underway to acquire a team than on our supporter group.

But I also wouldn't say "Hey, forget the interview/story" either. More power to those that BRING THE MO FCUKING noise and get written up in the media for their cause.
