Rainy day just like today. Amazing game.

It made me miss so many players. Olsen in particular.

With the possible exception of the Newcastle game that was the only game worth remembering from that era.

My memories of that game include Stoitchkov's free kick bomb and that we coughed up the go-ahead goal to a shorthanded Fire in the 85th minute. My then girlfriend, sick and tired of the team and the rain, told me right after that to give her the keys to my car so she could go sit in it to keep dry and warm up. When I came out to the car and told her we'd won she refused to believe it.

I miss Eddie Pope.
Seeing Soehn out there was pretty funny.
It was sad hearing Bradley commentate.

Yeah--Sohn came on late in the 2nd half and was sort of standing around while we scored our two late goals.

Wonder whether Bradley called him out by name after the game.

When that game ended we really all honestly thought we were going to pick it up that season and steamroll the league like we had since 1996. Little did we know it would be the highlight of the next FOUR seasons :eek:
