there is no way the club could stem that sum alone. So the only way we can get him is through sponsors. if we get him he will be financed externally.
Without his name and popularity we wouldn`t be able to get any extenal sources to give us money, so if we get him or not, no harm done.

and think about all the merchandising he will sell. Poldi`s last FC shirt has sold over 30 000 times.

also the whole pricing system has been screwed up the in last couple of years ( thanks to all those billionairs playing club bosses) even average players suddenly cost horrendous amounts of money. We propably have to pay about 3 mio for a below average striker anyway.

Ordered a red one with Poldis name and number 9 - and a white one with Daums name and number 1 :p (I have a white one with his name already, back then we didn't have a number one in our squad... :D)

What happened to us wasn't just Meier, but he played a huge role in it. And I feel the only reason we didn't get relegated is because we were smart enough to hire Bert van Marwijk.

The current jackoffs in charge ran him off and we did nearly get relegated the past two seasons.

As much as I want Poldi I don`t want the club ruined.


We are in the top 5 of the most finacially healthy clubs in germany.
But i think this season is going to be expensive. Geromel cost about 2.5 mio which is aready pretty close to our record transfer (3 Mio Marco Reich).

according to the bwin league he was the best player in the port. league last season.

We still need at least another 3 players and considering which players are rumored they will all cost at least 2 mio.

Poldis 15m are a bit much. I think that`s more like the starting price and the real transfer is never going to be made public and will be around 8-10 mio.
That way Hoeness doesn`t lose his face.

Well Meier did leave them with some nice players (Rosicky, Dede, Koller)
and a good youth section.
