Judging by his performances at Bayern, I'd say he terribly misses you guys too! :D

Perhaps Poldi is a bit like Litti only good when he plays in Kölle or in the NT.

Litti even gave the FC a loan so they could buy him back.

A small part of me still hopes that the "Poldi come home" campaign might work. Perhaps Reebok wants to try some radical advertising ( they are new in the BL after all) and helps us to finance him.

Rumors are that there negotiations with the CEO of Reebok (Uli Becker) who was seen at the Geissbockheim today about a possible transfer fee sponsoring for Poldis return...
...it seems it all depends on Munich now whether they let Poldi go

According to the portuguese webportal 'record' the brazilian player Geromel (22, Vitória Guimarães) has signed a 4 year contract yesterday.

link: http://www.record.pt/noticia.asp?id=793299&idCanal=18

here a rough translation:
COLOGNE HAS CONTRACT ALREADY

'Record' announced on Wednesday the imminent transfer of Geromel to Cologne, and confirms today the details of the last hours: the contract of the Brazilian is valid for the next four seasons and was signed yesterday. The central defender, who marries today in Sao Paulo received the tickets to germany for tomorrow already and will be presented in Cologne on Monday.

from wikipedia:
Geromel was recently considered as the best Bwin Liga player, by football fans, on-line, in the | Portuguese League official site (http://www.lpfp.pt/), beating Lisandro López (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lisandro_L%C3%B3pez)(Porto), and Lucho González (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucho_Gonz%C3%A1lez)(Porto).

I heard that too and I don´t think that it is that impropable. I mean why would
the Reebok CEO fly in to meet our club bosses? It`s not like we are Barca, they could just have send the director of Reebok Germany.

But then i don`t know how large Reebok is.

Geromel sounds promising a bit Mertesacker like.
that also means pretty much that Gooch is out of the picture.:(

the FC also renewed the contract with Nova till 2011

Adidas owns Reebok, so if they want us to sign Podi, put Reeboks on his feet - then I'm down with it.

According to zerozero Geromel is part of our squad already.

If you check under 'latest transfers' you can see a 'definitive' - what I still don't understand is that besides the portuguese websites nobody else published anything about this transfer so far... Not even our Express (and they are usually quick with things like that).

These egoistic profiteers, they just want to sell millions of Poldi jerseys.
Where can I order one? :D

Bayern won't let him go. They haven't that many good strikers left as substitutes... unless they get Gomez.

Right. And then Bayern aren't just going to send him "home". They will get paid.

Finally it is confirmed: Geromel joins Cologne !!

And concerning Poldi - it seems that the transfer is almost set and Poldi will join Cologne as soon as possible (before his vacation).
Would be a great thing, especially because teams like ManU, Tottenham, Juventus, Arsenal, Bremen and Stuttgart wanted Poldi :p

He would be a perfect replacement for Helmes!

:( now we need 15 millions

bayern sucks, we sold Poldi for 10 mio to them even though we had better offers
from Man. City because Poldi didn`t want to go abroad and we respected his wishes.

Now 2 years later, Poldi mostly sat on the bench the last 2 season and is in a far worse shape then he was when he was still with us, they want 15mio.

10 mio would have been fair

:( now we need 15 millions

You guys would be stupid to pay that much. But all you can see is the hometown hero coming home, not that you're being raped for 10M Euros.

15 million is crazy. Too crazy. Ridiculous.

We should have had a buy back price in the original transfer, hopefully the numbers we are hearing are just ficitious.
